How skill-based matches work

Every match on joyaccesshub gives each player the same game, the same rules and the same clock. The higher score wins.

The same conditions for everyone

A match on joyaccesshub is a short, timed round of one game. Every player in the room gets the same game, the same rules and the same amount of time. Nothing is drawn, spun or decided by chance - the result comes from how you play.

Picking a room

Each game has a list of rooms. A room sets four things:

  • how many players it holds (1, 2 or 4)
  • how long the round lasts (30 or 60 seconds)
  • the entry fee
  • which coin the entry is paid in

Join a room and you are placed with other players looking for the same format.

Playing the round

The round starts once the room is ready. The clock is run by our servers, not by your device, so everyone gets the full time even if your connection hiccups. Your score updates as you play and is submitted when the round ends.

Deciding the result

When the clock stops, scores are compared. The highest score takes the prize pool for that room. If scores are level, the round is recorded as a tie. Results, scores and history are stored on your account, so you can check any past match.

Getting better

Practice rooms are free and have no prize. Use them to learn a game's scoring before entering a paid room. If anything about a result looks wrong to you, contact us at support@joyaccesshub.com and we will look into it.
